If ya'll didn't know, we do our makeup and get ready most days at the office and since we're filming more than one video per day sometimes, we need a space to keep our makeup and wardrobe. We have this awkward corner in the loft that is just screaming for a vanity room makeover, so of course we got to it! @@madzabinga8382 💋Yes! They have such pretty & affordable acrylic trays (for lipsticks, eye shadows, blush, etc.) these days💄. 💕Love 💕clear glass vessels to store make-up. Could easily thrift or buy affordable dollar store items. ▪Those small, low line square or rectangular glass vases are perfect for beauty items. ▪A cylinder glass vase (or thicker drinking glass) is great for tall brushes. ▪If find a slightly larger clear glass vessel, they could add dollar store stones in it as a brush holder/display too. ▪A pretty apothecary type clear lidded glass jar for cotton puffs when they remove make-up too. ▪Petite tray with (reg. lid or pump refillable) glass bottles for lotion, sanitizer, witch hazel or whatever use for m/u removal. 🛠 Easy to DIY above too.

🌸Agree with you all. My own 👀eyes are notoriously wonky when it comes to measuring or hanging things properly. ⚒ Make up for my flaw w/the right tools. Using "levels" in a variety of projects has saved me a lot of frustration. 🚨A laser level is my dream🌈. That would've helped her with her floating desk placement too. 😉Use jigs (or guides) for cutting wood & other projects too. Otherwise, I would end up w/slightly different sized pieces or crooked hardware placement all the d*#% time😡. 🤣 So frustrating! •Sometimes you have to switch room lay-out for best access to outlets. •Sometimes those flat plug surge protectors can help maximize outlet.🔌Choose a longer power cord (when going behind a sofa or sideboard) or shorter (when it is right below outlet) as needed. •Use clever camoflauge for surge protector like a big potted plant or an interesting crate or basket when on top of a surface. Or, if on floor, an ottoman, side table, trunk, or other small furnishing. •Use clear tiny Command hooks to corral cords behind furniture, furniture legs, or along the bottom of walls. •If you have a drill, you can cut a hole in furniture for the grommet they featured in this video too. Each one has 2 USB & 2 AC plugs. •You can screw surge protector underneath furniture like a desk or vanity if you get one w/screw plates too. •There are ways to work around apt limitations. You just need some creative inspiration. Good luck! ☮💛🌼

WOW! it's crazy how small of a project this was (in comparison to the larger scale projects they typically do) yet, had one of the BIGGEST transformations they've ever done. Love this series and it's been inspiring me in the process of making my own home (I'm moving in with my boyfriend in a few months). This vanity inspired me to make a sort of island bar with stools and shelves for drinks. Also, I'm glad you painted the wood. Before you mentioned painting it I was thinking that it kind of looked unfinished like that. I only wish you went for the metallic handles, I'm not sure about the "white on white".
