Good job. Looks like it will simplify setting zero. Two things I would consider adding... Fasten a piece of wire to the vice like you did on the probe for a more secure connection; and always use a jumper wire to test that you'll get continuity between the part (vice) and the probe before performing the zero. Thanks for sharing.
