I actually tried this with oats almond milk I did myself. I added the step of heating the milk, waited for it to cool down and then added the probiotics. Let it sit outside in the sun for about 6 hours then put in the fridge overnight. It was delicious!!! And actually thickened even more as days passed.

I'm going to try it today! Thanks for the tip. Hope I got the right probiotics. I also want to try with Kefir, apparently, mixing water kefir with coconut yoghurt should have a similar effect.

that's how I make it.i save some of the previous yogurt. Boil your milk, let it cool to room temperature, if it's too hot it will kill the cultures. Add your old yogurt to the milk,mix well,)I do add some sugar and pure vanilla extract).I am experimenting adding ground flaxseed, will try almond flour and other stuff so it comes out thicker. Plant milk yogurt seems too runny, so I hope I find something that thickens it. My favorite is using cashew milk. I add one probiotic, let it sit on counter overnight before refrigerating. It gives it a bit of a tart taste. I also make vegan mozzarella using the boiled, cooled cashew milk with the prebiotic overnight, and a few ingredients like agar,carageenen, etc- it tastes better than cow milk mozzarella (the carrageenan allows it to melt like real cheese).

Don't you have to heat it first? Regular yoghurt is made by boiling the milk, letting it cool, then adding in the starter. So wouldn't you heat this first?

Hello, I have tried it , 2 cans with 2 capsule, but my yogurt turns very bitter taste. Could you please tell me the reason of its bitterness. I am now scared to try to make it again

must be the brand of coconut milk you used or you haven't sterilised your vesel with hot water.

You need four capsules cuz its 2 capsules for one can of coconutmilk
