Very nice build. I have a console table on my plan list here very soon.

As a newish wood worker myself. I suggest investing in a jig saw. Considering that you were using construction lumber... trying to notch around base boards is going to be very difficult. My husband has asked me to make a console table, and I plan to rip the legs down about half an inch. Make the top and legs flush on the front so there is a gap on the back that will be up against the wall. And no one will know 😊

I should get one!

I can appreciate your craftsmanship especially when you used the tools to ensure things were squared and properly angled for each respective cut. I do the same thing before I start each project and often even rechecking things in the middle of the build. Great video and I loved the final result. Thank you for sharing 👍👍 Oh and I almost forgot… I see you’re also a member of the tubafour nation. 👊

Nice idea for a mobile shelf. I would have scored around to socket cutout with a blade and used a hand-chisel though - an oscillating tool is too jerky in the best of hands. I am steeling the idea though 😊😊

I totally agree with you, learn from my mistakes. I was just trying to demo my new oscillating tool. That kind of detail work isn't ideal for it.

Have you had any drinks spill on the outlet? I like the design but I'm worried what would happen if you knock over a cup of water and the outlet gets soaked
