A question for you....I am building a similar cover, but not quite sure how to keep it secured to the hearth. Mine keeps wobbling. any ideas?

Hi! You might be starting with a warped board, unless your fireplace bricks aren't even/level. One idea for securing it is to use large Velcro strips. Stick one side to your fireplace and the other side to the underside of your board. I have used thick Velcro strips before to secure something similar. 😊 Good luck!
