DIY Cottage dress | Making a shirred dress and a wrap dress in one design | Sewing tutorial

Hi everyone,
Welcome or welcome back to my channel. My name is Jess and I love doing DIY, making clothes in a "simply but pretty" way.
In today's video, I'm going to share with you how I made the this beautiful cottage dress. It's a combination between a shirred dress and a wrap dress. So you can wear it in many different ways. I've tried to make it as easy as possible. So I hope you will like it and try it out.
To make this DIY, please check out my basic information below:
- Sewing machine: Brother Auto Tension
- Material: 3m of linen bamboo fabric
- My body measurements: 82-66-92cm. I'm 165cm tall and usually wear Small size.

Hey Jess, I absolutely love your videos and dresses 😍 I love them so much, that I decided to try to sew this one for me. Sadly I ruined my fabric while trying to shirr it. Shirring is tricky sometimes. I got some problems with it in the beginning (or even now with the new sewing machine). I think you should check the elastic thread you use as the under thread if it was put in the right way or not. Maybe it's too loose
