Derek was full of good ideas. I bet the girls love their new bedroom signs. As far as painting or staining, I think it depends on what you are using it for. I painted the boards I used in my laundry area to make them easier to clean and to make them blend in more.

Budget friendly is always the best way to go and it turned out great as always 😄 I save everything I can because I never know when I’ll get the itch to change things up. I think it’s smart to stay on a budget no matter how big or small that budget is!

Agreed! We are always on a budget! Being on a budget doesn’t have to mean you are struggling to make ends meet, it just means you have a plan for how to spend your money 💛

I collect a whole bunch of stuff… haha. For dinnerware i collect Royal Ironstone Currier and Ives Blue (vintage), Wexford by anchor hocking (vintage) and then for figurines i collect cherished teddies, precious moments, willow tree, and friends of the feather. Most are vintage but i have some new pieces as well!

Your tray is beautiful. I love the wood grain detail that shows through after staining. I agree with your hubby to leave it simple and let that detail be seen. I always enjoy watching you swap and move items around while you style until you get it exactly right. I do the same thing! I hope you enjoy your time in my state of Florida. I don't collect any Rae Dunn since we are retired & live in a manufactured house, so not a lot of room, however I get some fake flowers from the dollar store & holiday napkins & dish towels & I decorate that way. I must have 5 plastic containers & 1 Christmas tree box which covers all of our holidays. I love your diy table tray & your kitchen, it is very simple but yet elegant😉❤️👍🏻

Like your coffee bar with all the coffee cups that are hanging on the rack. Looks awesome. You must drink a lot of coffee. I usually drink a mild and light roast coffee. I use a snickers coffee creamer. I like this coffee creamer. It makes my coffee delicious taste. I have never used a cricket joy before nor do I have one. I think a does a really great job.
