Thank you for your comments about how you raise your children. Our children did not have a lot of chores...we gave them time to be kids, required them to be respectful, and help out when we asked them to. We also required that school be their main focus. They are both grown with children of their own, are wonderful parents, contributing members of society, and courteous, respectful people. You do you!

Sometimes as moms we cant wait for our kids to clean up ..I couldn't. I cleaned my kids rooms when they were in school Monday-Friday and on the weekend it was their responsibility. Who cares as long as they learn .

I just get sick of people trying to chime in on my approach to parenting, as if anyone watching these cleaning & decorating videos has real insight into how I handle my children. 🙄 sometimes I just roll my eyes, like there would be no content for me to film if I made my children slave away cleaning my home

I completely agree, I don’t know why people are so concerned with the way we raise our children it’s a CLEANING VIDEO! And I love the comment on here about letting the kids be kids but still teaching them responsibilities!! That comment spoke to me. Kinsley is one of the most mature, responsible and respectful kids I’ve even been blessed to meet and we love her to pieces! ❤️

Me too I still clean my daughters room she’s 17. I like to give it a good deep cleaning. She works a part time job last year of high school and helps in the house when it com s to cleaning. I’m glad you said what you said 🥰

I’m glad she made the comment also but at the same time the fact that she even HAD to kind of bugs me. People are so judgmental and love to tell other people what to do like 😤 I get that she puts her life out there on KZbin but it is NEVER ok to think you have a right to make any comments about how other people raise THEIR children. sometimes I feel like asking those people if they pay her bills or take care of those kids because it’s honestly like who asked for your opinion my gosh lol

Love it! All of the rooms turned out great. Kinsley is truly a young artist. There isn't one mom out there that doesn't go into their kids room to do a deep clean, declutter and organize. Looking forward to Wednesdays video. Have a great weekend 😊

I have to say I laughed at your comment to those telling you how to parent. I never cease to be amazed at how many people tell others what they should and shouldn't be doing. Ugh tell the parenting trolls to step OFF!! Anyone that actually has children knows that even if they have chores an adult still has to come in regularly and reset the space. It’s simply not realistic for a 7 year old to do the same quality job as we would. I love how you encourage them and focus on them “being seen & being heard”… those are some beautifully chosen words & ones I wish I could have focused on when my kids were little. I love how you decorate for the holidays with your girls and let them spread their personalities and exercise creativity. I have fond memories of decorating the same way with my mom growing up- we went ALL out on most holidays and seasonal events with Christmas being the most and Halloween a close second. As a mom of 3, I totally agree with what you said. I've had issues with people talking about how I parent my children. My philosophy, my children, my house, my rules. As far as my children's rooms, it's their rooms. It was their responsibility to keep it up. On the occasion that it was time for a momma clean up, I didn't want their input, because it took 15 more times to deal with. I did let them to help decide what stayed and what went, but for the most part, it was me. Anyway, now their 27, 25, and 18. They're good kids, and I am so proud of the adults they're becoming. My 18-year-old is the only one still at home, so we have time for him, and with him. Moral of my story. They are your children, and you make the rules. Other people need to mind their business, and raise their own children.

Megan - your eyes look absolutely beautiful!! As far as the negative comments, brush the haters off. You addressed the situation very professionally and was very matter of fact about it. As parents, we all do the best we can. No one is perfect but as long as we do our best that is what matters. Everyone is different and no parenting philosophy is better than the other- it simply boils down to what works. If the kids are fed, clothed, safe, and happy then we have done our job. OMGosh!!! The girls rooms look amazing. Love, love, love the fall decor! Just a little reminder to put a date on the pumpkins the girls decorated along with their names ... o what memories you have created. I'm going to see my great granddaughter soon and you reminded me to pickup Christmas wood decor that she can paint them, I did this with her mom, and all my grandchildren. Every Christmas when I go through my ornaments and see them, I am drawn back to them painting them and holidays when they put them back on my tree. Thank you!
