The best drawer material (I have found after making drawer such as you) is 1/2 Baltic birch, which is very stable. Also, the drwaer bottoms I've found work really well with 1/4 inch sanded plywood. Use a router to put a 1/4 slot in the drawer sides and front. You can use a back piece of 3/4 pine, cut to fit on top of the plywood bottom. If you want to get fancy, use a dovetail jig for half blind or through dovetails. They look great and hold well. Or, you can assemble the drawers as you did. I do love the look of your piece.

As always, I love your DIY designs and the look of all the furniture you build. Just remember, we don’t woodwork to make perfect items, we woodwork because we love the building process (yes, even through the frustrating parts). We are creating something outta nothing (essentially); something that a small percent of people do. Keep up the great work!

I love that you talk about your mistakes because I get so frustrated when building and refinishing furniture. It’s not as easy as it looks.

How are you doing Erin? It’s been a while. I hope you and the family are doing well. The table looks amazing of course. Everything you take the time to put out in a video would have to be.
