FINALLY!!! I knew someone could help me with my corners. I've been sewing for 6 months and trying to make perfect corners without sewing strips to the edges has been a massive challenge. I've been following the tutorial from "Shabby fabrics" and it's only taken me 9 projects to mostly get it right. I'm thankful for your video. Hopefully it only takes me once!! Happy Holidays!

Love this! I was looking for a fun and easy project to give our new dining room table a modern look. I have a beautiful damask glitter fabric that would be perfect for this. Thanks for the easy step by step tutorial!

I have watched hundreds of videos for mitering corners on my placemats-how did I miss this one until now? Before I try this I am goin to see if I can combine your wonderful technique to sewing it on my placemats without “stuffing” it, otherwise your is the winner!

Thank you for this, I have never come out correctly on my corners, I am assuming, the turn down is 3/8 of an inch, not sure, but whatever works! Thank you. This is lovely. I wondered if it needed some quilting in the middle, since batting usually is supposed to be quilted every 4 to 6 inches, does this hold up in the wash? Thank you.

I've been sewing for years (mostly freehand), but I can't seem to figure out the measurements for this project. What is 1.12 I would assume it is 2 feet, but I can't seem to find anything about this measurement. Help.
