Thank you! Next is trying this in the vehicle. I have been busy with a bunch of other projects but this will be coming up

u will need very very thick wire , min double up zero gauge there n back for the high load/ resistance duties u r expecting with shielding n cool enough mount to stop a fireball from occurring. this repositioning is very sub optimal for function n performance

Thank you! I have about half of it done but I am working on multiple projects (plus my day-job :) so its taking me a bit. But I am glad to hear you are interested in it! It will come..

What did you attach to the Supercharger outlet? Is that to keep it from going into surge?
@DIY-VIDEOS Жыл бұрын
Its just an empty bottle, its purpose was to provide a load on the supercharger and also to mount the sensor since I couldn't mount the sensor in the flexible hose. The bottle is basically stopping the airflow completely so we see the max pressure and the most work on the supercharger. It will be a bit like the engine at idle, where it consumes very low CFM and does not allow more air through. At high engine RPM, it will be similar to the bottle with a hole in it and we will see less pressure and probably will get less work out of the electric motor.

Where did you get the flexible hose?
@DIY-VIDEOS Жыл бұрын
I found it on Amazon, look for "2.5" flexible intake hose". But I am not sure it is well suited for the pressure of forced induction, I think it is meant for normally aspirated or the piece that goes to the center before pressurization. The pressure causes it to extend. I am still experimenting with this

@DIY-VIDEOS Thank you for answering my questions. I'm grateful for your input as I work on building my own setup. Hopefully I will be able to run my first bench test this week!

It’s coming, sorry it’s taking so long. I found a way to fit it in our Fiat500 where the battery goes. But that means I’ll have to move the regular battery to the trunk and haven’t had time to do that yet. The battery for the supercharger will need to go in the trunk too
