It’s a sad life 😔. 😆, no but we usually get paid more then Americans. The US minimum wage is $7.25 and where I live in Canada it’s $14.60, and with most jobs it’s scaled enough to make it roughly even. I’ve actually looked this up and in most cases the average Canadian will make enough to provide a better living than the average American. (I looked this up first jealous of Americans btw)

Yeah you probably want to put a lot more effort into the housing. That housing does not have enough clearance and should not have a flap that can open up so easily. The screws inside need to be insulated better as well and the esc should not go on top of the battery like that. The only good thing about this build was the skateboard deck. If you have the tools shown in this video, you would be much better off building an enclosure from cheap wood and sealing corners off with silicone sealant.

That sensor wire is connected to some hall effect sensors it doesn't make it smoother it tells the esc where the motor is so the esc knows what phase wire to send current trough

How has the ESC been holding up? Is it a good quality one?

So far, I haven’t had any problems or malfunctions at all with it, so I would say it has held up very well. This was by far the cheapest ESC I could find, and the only noticeable difference I could find between it and other more high end ESCs I’ve ridden is that the accelerating and braking isn’t as sudden/aggressive on the cheaper one. Hope this helps!
