DIY Extensions For Short Hair

In this episode, I show you how to do extensions on very short hair! This is not as easy at it seems since you will need to blend in the short hair with the long extensions, but with some patience and care, you can do it too!

My hair is horrible and short it’s dry it’s not cut right I’ve tried so many extensions I have lupus and it’s so hard to put the clips I am going to try the tape and do this to myself thank you I hope I look as pretty as the girl u have in the video, nice hair makes a big difference when you don’t feel very confident I appreciate your video

I like to add a topper, then extentions! Thats so much easier to get it to look natural. I hate seeing girls with a short bob them add 22" extensions! That frizzy line where the natural hair ends is so gross looking, in my humble opinion! 😉🙃😝 Raquel Welch or Jon Renau (easihair) have nice lace-front toppers for gals with some top hair loss to just very thin hair! Topper and extentions can look even more natural than a wig! Raquel Welch, however, has amazing lace fronts! By FAR the best. Ive had many hair stylists freak out when they found out it was a wig I was wearing! I had on Editors Pick in shaded biscuit. It's a rooted color which is even more natural!!!

Can I get your opinion? I have fine, thick hair that is naturally dirty blonde level 7. I have a lot of blonde highlights with straight across bangs. The bangs are pretty heavy but they don’t look heavy since my hair is fine. Still they go back fairly far (not just a thin amount of hair). I went to a new salon this last time and the stylist either used a developer that was too strong or overlapped the bleach because most of my bangs have snapped off. I also have a lot of breakage near my temples and all over the top layer of my hair. It’s not a good look. I can blend the top pieces well enough and put extensions on the sides to fill it out but the bangs look terrible. They are very short and choppy. Is it possible to add extensions in bangs? As I mentioned before, they start pretty far back so I think I I’d be able to hide the tracks. What are your thoughts? Have you ever done this or seen it done well before? Thank you so much!

Hi, sorry to hear this. I had used extensions for bangs, what you can do is cut the extensions in half and put under them to get the length and volume you need. I will try to do a video in the future 😄

As far as I know u don't add to crown. U want it to sit correctly. I've never seen someone go around the head like that. Needs to lay flat, straight and with head. No head is the same shape.

Hi, the extension stays in your hair until you remove it. around 2 months and then you should change the old tape for the new tape
