To get glowing skin, drink more water and stay hydrated. If you don't enjoy consuming regular water, you can include a bit of lemon for taste. To exfoliate your skin, use a gentle scrub like Besan and tomato for oily skin or aloe vera if you have dry skin. You can also blend oats into a creamy paste, store it in a container in your bathroom, then use it daily to gently scrub your skin with water. To wash your face, use riceberry face wash from littlextra that's soft on your skin. It helps brighten your skin and maintain it healthy.

Upon cleansing face with the riceberry gel, I noticed that the face appears more radiant. It is suitable for all types of skin. The fragrance free formula is refreshing for the skin complexion. It evens out the complexion as complexion becomes brighter with each use.

A month ago I used up a bottle of cetaphiil face wash and this month I started using riceberry face wash. I can say riceberry suited better to my skin and I saw good results with it.

I've lived by a river or stream for the last 9 years. Sand is an excellent exfoliant, and sometimes curious fish come by to puzzle things out or whatever they do. Fish can be quite curious. :)

From what I understand bentonite clay cannot be rinsed in the sink because it may clog the pipes or damage septic. I wonder if you have an idea regarding 'rinsing' the toothbrush after brushing. I made a toothpowder, which I love, using bentonite clay, ground cloves, cinnamon, redmond salt and peppermint oil... but it became more of a nuisance trying to rinse the brush and brushing outside is not feasible 😒Thank you in advance for any input :)

We have not noticed any clogging of pipes probably because the amount of clay is fairly small. Also, you're using it on your teeth first, it gets mixed with your saliva instead of being put down the drain straight. Hope you find this helpful 😊 ~ Anja

@@OurGabledHome Thank you so much for your answer. It's odd, I'd been trying to find info on this concern for months without any luck... then you answer my question and as soon as I made another search for an answer online, I came across this link that confirms I need not be concerned. bentoniteclayinfo.com/clay_info/articles/septic_system.htm Thank you Anja! Have been enjoying your channel and videos for about two months now - started with looking into sourdough starters :)

Now I wonder if this would be ok for me because I am sensitive to commercial scented soaps.

Hi Suzi, I would say yes! It's only unscented castile soap, jojoba oil, herbs, and (optional) essential oils. You can read more about the ingredients here: ourgabledhome.com/homemade-all-natural-face-wash/ Hope this helps 😊 ~ Anja
