After finding some old fence posts at work I decided to build a raised pond to house more fancy goldfish. Follow along as I build, stock and plant the pond.

@@fatheadedfish thats my next mission putting more fish in. Have a mixed bread pond Everyone gets on great lost a few fish but learnt about the hobbie couldnt be happier with the quality of the pond. Located in yorkshire

@@fatheadedfish also so the fish have a lid that i cover half of the pond off with a large plastic panel with steel mesh on the right hand side.. i can have it full open also when i am about the garden

For a basically free build pond, that looks amazing! How’s it holding up?? I’m guessing the rebar makes a hell of a difference

I was lucky finding the material tbf! It’s holding up really well, made a few updates and gone ahead with the second pond that I will post a video about soon. This next one didn’t use rebar and yes rebar makes a massive difference!

Don’t hold me to this as it was a while ago but I believe it was around: 24 x 100cm 6 x 70cm 6 x 150cm The fence posts were 4” x 4” (100mm x 100mm)

Glad you like the pond! Sorry it’s taken a. While I’ve just measured it and it is L220cm W110cm & Depth 80cm at one end and a little lower at the other :)
