That's really kind of you! We do need an upgrade really 😄 If you're in Florida currently, I hope you're safe and well. It's taken one hurricane beating and looks to soon be taking another.

It was a *battle* getting it in, and it felt like such an achievement. Damn tasty too! Worth the effort (and profanities 🤣).

Yes, yes, we do 😄 Even if we can find a secondhand one somewhere, it'd be a vast improvement. The ol' coke bottle will meet its match one day.

"Important question: Will there be Sea Turtles?" I feel like this is the most important question ever asked. Could you imagine how the non existent sea turtles would have responded to some profanities though? Eh... The explosion is kinda concerning :/ with such a loud bang too? scary. Another great video Tony and Jesus. I'm looking forward to the next one. ~Cakes

@cakeytea Bryony is always asking the important questions in life 😆 There is serious medical-Bryony, and then there is happy turtle-Bryony. There isn't much in-between! Disappointed that we didn't get the bang on camera. Tony's ear was ringing until the next day, if that helps to offer any volume perspective! We have some good sailing coming up in the next one 💪🏼⛵️

I take it you where sailing with starlink on, looking at the dish ,you still have your motors turned on, up day you app, and then after you have replace your hub , set your dish to horizontal, and then disable the motors , the dish doesn't need to move to work ,as there are satellite are above you. Mine didn't blowup as I found it got hot when sailing , and turned it of a until like most people we set then flat, with motors off, but now you can do that in the app.

Ah that's really interesting, thank you! Yes, we pretty much have it on all the time if just coastal sailing. We shall have a go at that from hereon! We don't want any more exploding equipment 😅

Why do you need to kill. You dont. Stop and think about life please and what it really means. That fish had a life, enjoyment, friends, experiences....just like you. It was a sentient being. This obsession with killing fish by YT sailing channels has to stop. For your life, you dont have to - you are not compelled by necessity for survival - , to kill fish. Stop it. Make the right moral and human choice,

Hi there, Bryony here! This is a topic I feel very passionate about. My personal belief is that the morality of a behaviour is decided by society, and that whilst I have the utmost respect for those who choose to be vegan (and much love for the vegans close to me), there are a few key reasons as to why I myself will not be vegan... i) it removes us from nature, making us *apart from* it, rather than recognising that we are *a part of* it. By failing to recognise that we ourselves are animals we are denying our own place in the natural world, the foodchain, and our biology. By being apart from nature instead of a part of it, the westernised world has largely lost its symbiotic relationship with the planet, which in turn has been used to great planetary detriment and destruction. ii) Western veganism heavily originated as a weapon of colonialism, and continues to be used as such today. I don't believe it can be considered the only moral approach to diet when those ascribing to it fail to acknowledge that it historically has, and continues to be, weaponised against indigenous peoples as a means of dehumanising them, disempowering them, and stealing their land, way of life, and even physical violence towards them. iii) Leading on from that, indigenous rights are hugely important to me - if we preach that the only moral dietary choice is to not eat meat, we need to consider if we'd deem it appropriate to do so with remote tribes who are still hunter-gatherers with a symbiotic relationship with nature, with the recognition that it would completely destroy their way of life. If we wouldn't (and I hope not!) then it shows that it is not the only moral option, or (as I believe) that there is no perfect option. There is no morally-perfect approach, and for that reason, we should not be preaching to one another as though there is. On that note, I respect that you yourself do not wish to be attributed to the loss of any life. That is absolutely fine. If you were my friend onboard I would cook you vegan meals mostly happily and with great love. I do not, however, believe it to be the singular correct approach to diet, or that there is *any* approach to diet that does not cause suffering/destruction in one way or another. To exist often sees no perfect options within the choices that we have make. We each have to do what sits with us best, but I respect others enough to see that what I feel is best for me is different for what you find feels best for you. And that is okay. Fair winds, B.
