the author does like to from scratch, shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. kzbin.infoUgkxD-QRFQz730FJEh4f9BYSf-nkIMIC9hL_ as another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us dont have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we wont be able to practice the full stack project, is still great.

This is a pretty solid little workbench. While once you figure out how it comes together, it is physically Easy to assemble kzbin.infoUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh by yourself. But the diagrams explaining the steps are really pretty bad. I could not get the handle pins in all the way despite multiple attempts, so I just used a screw I had on hand for the 2nd handle. I could not get the first pin in further or pull it back out. You are supposed to hammer it in, but I had no leverage and the handle is plastic and I did not want to risk breaking it. I will get a lot of use out of the bench because of the convenient size and height. It does fold up nicely for storage. They even explain how to fold it so you don't get pinched...that is important!

Pretty cool build. I like the way the leg's fold away and stored in the top case. A brace is needed for when it opens to stop it from caving in sideways. Thumbs-up though. 👍🏼

If this could be done somehow for a dining table that would amazing. We have a small apartment and there are 7 of us. At the moment we either eat on the couch or in our rooms. I grew up eating at the dinner table and it's important to me that i do this with my family. Also, my 5 year old is autistic and has food aversions and we were told by his occupational therapist that it would be best for him to eat with us.

To all those praising the work I have a question. How can anybody sit at the table and eat something comfortably without being able to put his legs under the table? The design may be good for to function as a portable workbench. Flimsy but a workbench but a table not really.
@AA-zq1sx2 жыл бұрын
Who said it had to be for eating? It could be a side buffet table for when guests come over, a display table for arts and crafts, an extra workbench for the garage or craft room, a stand for an indoor gardening set-up, a place to lay out and fold your laundry, a meal prep and baking workspace in the kitchen... it has a million temporary & space saving uses that don't involve you sitting under it to eat.

Yes, why not just remove the narrow bottom folding piece and place it to match on the other side so they are along the top, one on each side. Then remove the wide folding piece. Now it will work perfectly fine as a table. Add a lock mechanism to the inside of each folding part where the hinges are, so they won't move when in set up table mode. Then place the table piece on top and Bob's your uncle!

i love the design , i would of liked to see how some weight applied so we can see how the legs are stable. easy fix if not would be just a drop down bar from the top of the support to the middle support so it helps keep the pressure on it.

Can you make one of those suitcase tables that 3 card Monty/she'll and pea game street gamblers/con artists always have? So they can just hold the suitcase out and POP, the legs drop and magnets click them straight and they can play. Then if they see a cop, they can quickly fold up the briefcase and walk away with their winnings

This idea may be a little complicated. I have a open archway off my main living area. The archway leads to stairs, and the master bedroom off tp the right. If the master bedroom door is open, anyone in our entryway can look right into the room. I want to have some kind of doors for the archway. I'm thinking saloon type doors?
