+BleepinJeep Didn't have to look much further than the "Up Next" section on your video to find someone who did the same thing a year before you did. The idea has been around forever pal. I asked one of the old timers in my shop today and he said he did the same thing on his rig back in the 80's. Don't know what your aim is in demanding notoriety...... Seems like you'v lost touch with the whole idea of community on KZbin. This is all supposed to be fun, and it still is for the rest of us. Your quest for making a buck is really starting to show in your content and your character.

Wires used in engine compartment must be 105ºC rated and fexible (stranded); Cat 5 might work but compromise safety.

You should use 20-gauge wire instead of cat5. Cat5 isn't suitable for engine bay wiring. 20-gauge is still very thin, and heat resistant.

NEVER use cat 5 in a car. 1) does not do well with heat and 2) cat 5 is solid core wire. If you get a crimp in the line from running it it will not work. That is why you use braided line.

Joe- would something like Stinger SGW9920 ( on Amazon ) be sufficient instead the cat5 wire ? Or can you recommend anything else ?

That actually looks nice. If I did not have a bunch of single strand handy, I probably would have tried something like this. I would at least email the company and see what the temp rating is.
