NIce video and nice build. I'm glad Stanley resupplied your dad with new tools. I'm going to use these plans and build my next door neighbor a shed. But I'll be foolish and likely do this winter when I have a little more time. I'm retiring in December, I'm only 58 but it's time. I'll have to make a video of my build to share. Thank you.

That would be awesome!! Would love to watch! Hopefully you don't get too bad Winters where you are... but retiring at 58 sounds BLISS!!!

What a great job you did on this shed, Vikkie. Here in the Los Angeles area, we call them 'Snack Bars'. Each youth soccer, baseball or football league has one and none of them looks any better than the one that you just built. I am in awe of your knowledge of cooking, crafting, home remodeling and general wood working. I should probably add 'boat builder' as well, huh? Congrats on your thoughtful kindness toward the children of the Armthorpe Welfare Football Club. I admire you, your uncle, and your dad.

Really nice build, and a good cause. I was worried about hammering next to glass (well, perspex) too, plus it's really tight, so I predrilled all the holes in the trim, popped nails in, offered it up, then used a squeezy clamp to pull the nails in..worked a treat, you just get sore hands

That's a pretty decent build and a lot of fun, I'll bet. One thing I gotta know - were those boots with the shorts made for walking or more for collecting sawdust?

Superb job and i didn't know Stanley made so many tool's tough i have just bought a new Makita drill wich will last for years. Do you get your wood screw's, nails ect from the same place or do you shop around? I seem to always end up getting mine from B&Q but as you use allot more than most people i thought that you could recommend somewhere cheaper/better. Thanks in advance & all the best.
@TheCarpentersDaughterUK3 жыл бұрын
Cheers! I'm always surprised how many Stanley tools are on the market. Especially the small essential things I have in my workshop. I (and my Dad) buy boxes and boxes from Screwfix if that helps. But I'm sure he buys them from all over the place. Not sure there.
@baldvale54183 жыл бұрын
@@TheCarpentersDaughterUK Thank you & yes it does help thou Screwfix & B&Q seem to sell the same things 🤔 I'm off to Google the hell out of Stanley tools 👍

If it helps... it's the case of screws www.screwfix.com/p/goldscrew-pz-double-countersunk-general-trade-case-1400-pcs/73022 Often my Dad finds them on markets and all sorts.
