I love this idea. I made one using Golden fluid Matt medium and water (half and half) with ultra fine glitter. It looks fabulous, and since it's Matt medium it dries without a glossy finish leaving the glitter looking like it's floating on the surface (not glossy) which I like very much - and does not rub off! Thank you Lindsay!

Might try using mica from the eye shadows, and alcohol, and a couple drops of glue, some like to use glossy accents. Shake it up and use. To see it you must turn the item to see the shimmer and sparkles. I use this for sprays, but i dont spray anymore, i use a brush, lol or just pour it out of a bottle ... love it.

Just come across this video after getting a clear Wink of Stella this week. You really have managed to get the look of the W of S. Thank you so much for coming up with so many good ideas and work arounds. I specially like your marker snd painting videos. Because I don't really craft, just colour, I'm probably not going to try it though I will spread the word about your video to my crafty friends who are likely to have the supplies necessary. However, I might try using Copic blender or Letraset Tria refill ink and some ultra fine glitter and see if that works as I use the blender ink and can always pass on the remaining glitter to a friend if it doesn't. Thanks again.

You are soooo brilliant! I am wondering if you tired mixing up the glitter and floor wax before putting it in the brush. Then using the eye dropper to fill the tank of the brush. As soon as I get some floor wax, I am going to try this. I don't have my water brush handy to look at to see if this is doable. You are going to get some nice shine with just the floor wax. I wonder if you put a little bit of the liquid solution in the pen barrel first then add the glitter (shake it a little to mix) then pour the rest of the liquid then shake again. This might help to have a more even distribution of the glitter/liquid solution. Funny thing is I just ordered my first ever Wink of Stella pens from Blitsy the other day. I can't wait to get them and try them out. It was the cheapest prices I had seen so far, and I have been looking for a while. TFS

The Wink of Stella pens become empty so quickly and are overpriced but I love the stuff! Thank you for working so diligently to come up with a workable solution. I am eager to try it. Is there a way to stretch my existing Wink pen? Maybe just a little wax will do it. Love your ideas. Thank you.

Looks great Lindsay. I don't have a wink of stella pen but it looks like what I've seen on YT. Does the floor wax harden on brush between uses? I'm sure you could take the brush tip off and wash it out good and put it back on and store it brush side up. I wonder if the "xtreme glitter" bottles of paint that walmart carries would work in the water brushes. I don't see why not. Definitely would have to wash the brush out well with that. It comes in basic colors as well as silver and gold, and clear. I've just brushed it on some projects with a regular brush and it leaves a super glittery trail, kind of like a snail trail . I know , "eeww" lol . Love your videos. I liked the results from your first wink of stella video too. Iris,SavedbyGrace

make sure you get the Pledge with Future floor wax for regular floors, not the wood flooring kind. They have 2 different ones now. The only place I can find it here is Wal-Mart. There are lots of things you can do with it. If you google FFF crafts or something, you can find them. Lindsay, have you made the glitter balls yet? you use a clear Christmas ball, pour FFF and glitter in it, then roll it around and pour it out and leave it upside down for a few minutes. Cheap and pretty. Model car and airplane makes use it for a glue and a varnish. It used to be called Future Floor Finish before Pledge bought them out, which is where the FFF come from.

RENAJA MEDINA any ultra fine glitter is fine but you need a brush that will dispense it. The Royal waterbrush 3 pack is good, use the tow larger ones.
