I use a homemade primer with Glycerin and Aloe vera. Best primer ever and my make up stays set for the day. Pumps my skin up a bit too. Just two tablespoons of organic vegetable aloe vera gel and half a teaspoon of the glycerin. Mix / shake well. Leave in fridge and it will last a long time.

Is this good for very dry skin with rosacea? When is the best time to use it (where in your skin care routine)?
@PiXie23210 ай бұрын
Yes:) it’s excellent for dry skin with rosacea. I have extremely dry skin and rosacea and use this every day multiple times throughout the day and it helps immensely! Just spray it whenever you feel like it. I keep one in my bathroom, one on my nightstand, one in my purse, kitchen etc. so I have them available wherever I am. I’ve noticed a big difference in how hydrated my skin is staying throughout the day since implementing this into my daily routine. I also use this when applying my skincare- I’ll spray it on during the toner/essence stage and in between each serum I put on. It’s made a massive difference:)

PSA for people that can’t do rose water. There are other floral waters like chamomile and lavender. As well as citrus & herbal waters like grapefruit & peppermint. I assume you can substitute rose water for any other floral water that’s advertised as safe for your face. I would do a test patch tho to make sure your skin can handle it tho before spritzing your face. And stick to the ratios listed in Shereene’s recipe with mixing the floral and distilled water with glycerin. Also note if you’re allergic to something when you eat it ie mint don’t use peppermint water because your skin will have an allergic reaction when it’s applied topically. Disclaimer- I’m not a dermatologist/ medical professional. Please do your own research.

I'm allergic to chocolate (I can't eat it), but my skin ADORES cocoa butter. My skin and hair absolutely HATE coconut oil (it breaks my hair off, it makes me lose my hair in chunks, and it inflames my skin), but I can eat it without any issues. These are only two examples, but I have a lot of food allergies and a few contact allergies, and the two examples above are true for almost all of them! Please stop spreading disinformation.
