Just came to say the production value here was great, and funny to boot. Excellent DIY.

Just stumbled across your video as I had the same idea and wanted to see if anyone else had done it. I wasn't planning to subscribe, hell, i don't even know what your other videos look like, but i"ll be sure to check them out after this one. Here's a sub and a like :) I was laughing through the entire thing.

Awesome video, thank you I have a question though : this way I secure the thumb screw not the camera, right? If the screw became loose, the camera will fly away or fall and the wire will hold the screw only, isn't that right, or am I missing something? Thanks again

I lost my GoPro even though I had tethered it to my helmet's chin strap ☹️☹️☹️

You're awesome! My gf bought me a gopro and I want to use it for motorcycle riding affixed to my helmet. This will keep my mind at ease. Subscribed!

Any thoughts on harnessing a GoPro to a rental helmet for white water rafting? I don't think they would like me to use an adhesive.

How did you get 1/16 vinyl coated wire to fit in a 1/16 crimping sleeve? I purchased these items at Home Depot and they do not fit.

I don't want to save a thumbscrew... I want to save my GoPro. I am sure it works well, but there is still that chance you will lose your camera in theory. The tether needs to be attached to the GoPro case.

Yeah, some trackday orgs have a problem with it too if not mounted to the case. www.sportbiketracktime.com/index.php?route=information/information&information_id=11
