Built mine over the last few days.... Works great indoors but yet to test outside in the horrible British weather. Found the exact sam torch in Wilkinsons in the UK for £2.99 but I had to modify the heads of my screws so they didnt catch on the universal joint. Well worth the effort though. Great DIY design,,,,, Well done :-)

Hi there, are there any precise measurements for the flat bar? Or is it just random? Awesome concept btw!
@Soarpix3D9 жыл бұрын
Tibbi Hi Tibbi! The size of the flat bar isn't that important I think. You can find length and measurements for drilling on my website www.soarpix.com

@Soarpix3D9 жыл бұрын
Indra Fasya Hi there! You have to grind the screw head (square) to fit the socket. I have some pictures on my webbsite soarpix.com/GoPro-DIY/gopro%20steadicam.html

How about those square flat pieces of metal? What are the measurements of those (and what are they called?). Cause I know they are important to keep the whole piece balanced to the GoPro unit. Good job on the video. Thanks!

Would this handle work for stabalizing snowboarding/skiing videos?
@Soarpix3D9 жыл бұрын
+Angel Colon Ramirez I think it could be difficult to keep it stable. strong wind could also be a problem.
