Personally I don’t really like it, it breaks very easily and the quality isn’t amazing because the liner is cardboard! I don’t really recommend, but that is just my opinion.

I JUST followed Scotty’s You Tube on making one of theses “from scratch”. It took hours to build with my daughter’s help!! (But it does look great and I was able to make it 84 inches long by 28 inches wide. It’s huge!) Next I need to sew some liners and I’ll be ready to adopt a buddy for my single piggie that was just given to me! This video was very helpful in helping decide which route to go next time I need a C&C cage!

Just a couple tips/ideas! When I use cable ties on pet cages, I use toenail clippers to cut them. You can get so close that way. When my piggies had a coroplast cage, I used plastic report binder bars (the kind that just slip on) on the edges so there weren't any tempting things to chew on. 🐹

@@hannahshouseplants3649 It helps the cable ties have no rough edges and a nicer look. I also use toenail clippers to cut them off when necessary. (I don't have a C&C cage right now, but my piggies' current habitat also has cable ties. Cable ties and toenail clippers can be so helpful with do it yourself and modified cages.) I just adopted my first teacup capybaras and they came with this exact model. It’s not an easy assembly that’s for sure. Not for a first time owner. I’m delighted that I have it, & can see this is a serious enclosure for optimum comfort. If you’ve never assembled anything like this, make sure you have help. Especially if you have two nervous piggies waiting for a home because there’s nothing simple about it if you’re new like me.

Love the setup. For two it'd be cozy, but yeah, with your four, there's quite a crowd in there. I was a bit surprised that Willow was first to the loft- I was sure it'd be one of the babies.

Two months ago we got 2 piggies and a MIdwest cage. We are considering a Mezzanine for loft space but C&Cs certainly seem to have their advantages. Hmmm.... Your piggies look very happy!

We got our 2 pigs off Craigslist in a Midwest cage and found it was way too small for the both of them. We turned the Midwest cage into a second story with their food/water and built them an 18sqft first floor for running and popcorns. It was cheaper building the 18sqft than the Midwest cage cost. C&C cages are less than $50 if you source materials yourself

@Pushkara Talluri hmm, there are a few cages on Amazon that range from 1600- 1500 rupees which is fairly a good deal. You could also try getting c & c grids and connectors and putting it together by yourself. Usually it’s pretty cheap. My friend built her cage with c & c grids she found on amazon for I think 38 or 40 dollars USD ( I could be wrong ) and her piggies are living happily in them!

I have to say……..These cages look really wonderful. I am a new piggie owner so this is all pretty new to me……..although I have been dedicating a lot of my time learning and understanding their needs. It’s important to me that I give this animal (family member) the best and longest life possible. In most of the videos I watch and information I read..….the size and set-up of their habitat seems to be what’s most important. After educating myself as much as possible I purchased the Midwest cage from Amazon……mostly because it was so affordable. It’s a decent cage, but it is nothing like the one in your video. After watching your video and seeing how easy this cage was to set-up I’m a bit upset I didn’t know about Cavee beforehand. So after watching your video I was sold, and immediately checked out their website. I’d be lying if I didn’t say I knew in my gut that this cage was going to be an expensive purchase……just because of how well made it appears to be as well as the pre-cut coroplast and fancy fleece liners, but I was gutted when I saw that it was even more expensive then I had assumed. Listen….I don’t know the cost for these materials and the difficulty in cutting them to size so these prices may very well be good prices for what your getting………it’s just unfortunate this cage is not attainable for me. Regardless, it seems this company Cavee has outdone themselves when it comes to proper, well made habitats for Guinea pigs!

I got the 3x2 kavee cage for my piggies as I’m a first time pig-mum and wasn’t sure how the cage would fit in my small space, but now I’ve had them a few months I definitely will be upgrading to a 4x2 with a base to utilise storage underneath and give them the most room possible!! And you may have just convinced me to get a loft too😂 I also love Kavee’s little fleece corner curtains as my piggies enjoy going to the toilet with some privacy!🤣

When I bought my first and current c&c cage, it was easy but also hard to put together because they had rivets for the chloroplast and storage bins and if you're not strong enough like me it hurts to put it together. The process took me 4 hours to just do the stand and cage and the base bottom. I got my cage from the guinea pig cage store. I love the cage and it's been the absolute best cage in the whole world but the building process was super stressful. But I want to upgrade from a 2x6 to a 4x6 but dont want to do that process all over again. So I might try this one out. Since it take no time at all to put together and is super easy I'm sure I'll love it

I highly recommend that you reinforce the stability of the cage with zip ties, especially if you have other pets. I am the kind of person who tries to pit things together before reading the instructions first. My word of advice: Read the instructions or watch videos BEFORE trying to put it together!!! Setups look so wonderful when they're clean! *chuckle

I have been struggling to find the right C and C for our piggy. I kept going back to Kavee, but didn't like the images of the accessories. They seemed like they were a bit wimpy, but after watching your video I think it may be there photos that are making them look that way. Are you able to make tops for them? My younger sister just got three piggies amd we have cats. Though our cats dont pay attention to them and the piggies actually want to play with the kitties. I want to be sure that they are safe when they are in their cage. And thank you for educating about size, we sadly got a cage from amazon and now realize it is not suitable for the piggies so we are working on getting them bigger. They stay in a play pen through the day and are only in the cage at night for now.

These cages do look like a great solution particularly as an interim until I can plan and build a wood/Perspex cage one day. I do like the idea of a floor level cage for free roaming days but the storage is also a good option. How are piggies with chewing the Corex? I don’t think covering with fleece is a permanent solution so I’d want to be certain they could ingest it and come to harm x
