You did a great job explaining! I didn't think you sounded repetitive at all. To me it just sounded like someone thoroughly explaining each step, as it should be! I like thorough explanations, especially with something like cutting hair, something that many of us watching don't have experience with.

I usually never comment much on videos. But i just tried this haircut and turned out amazing. I love it. Lots of volume. However, i watched the video like 50 times and played it while i was cutting my hair. You HAVE to pay attnetion to her instructions and follow excatly. Thanks, love my layers!!!!

Omg I love how my hair turned out! My hair feels a lot thicker now! I am never going to pay to get my haircut ever again!!! I had a hard time sectioning my hair to combing it up at a 90 degree angle cause my arms are too short hahaha so I had to have someone help me. It turn out so amazing! Thank you so much!

Goodness gracious, haters out there for teaching us how to cut our own hair as well as you did! Well done, Farah! The hairdressers don't want to lose their business. You're not annoying, it's okay to reiterate important points. People will complain anyway, either because they think you said it too much or too little... Do what do you do; you're awesome at it. I'm very thankful for you and your videos.

Thank you for this video. I have used this method on my hair twice and it came out great both times. Several months ago, my hairdresser was having a bad day and gave me an uneven cut and it took about eight months to grow out enough to fix. Now that I have found this video, I can avoid that problem and save money. :)

Thank you so much, I am heavily pregnant and saved for a professional hair cut, I had waited over a year to go to the hairdressers because I don't trust them to do it properly. When I finally went I asked for layers and didn't get any! It was barely a trim. I built the courage to follow your tutorial and it looks great! so much easier to manage when baby comes and looks so much better than before. Thank you again xxx

I’m so glad that this hairstyle is back on trend in ‘24. I’ve been asking hairdressers to cut my hair like this for maybe 5 years without success. Now that it’s on trend, they’ll hopefully learn to cut layers correctly

After being extremely dissatisfied with the professional haircuts time after time I will most surely be trying this out in the future when my hair is long enough 😕 I recently got a haircut, well i wanted more of a trim the ladycut about 10inches of my hair 😩 i feel naked with out. Thankfully my hair is healthy to start off with and i know it will grow fast. Thankyou for taking the time on this, hair is soo precious and cutting it yourself when you are not a pro it's scary...thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!!!🌸🌺🌻

I have been looking all over youtube for the perfect tutorial to cut my own hair. I came across yours after months of searching. I have never ever cut my own hair before, which is why I so patiently waited to find the right video. Long story short, I've been on bed rest since about 3 months into my pregnancy, but I desperately needed a haircut. I have extremely long hair, so I figured I can definitely save a few bux, cut my own hair in the comfort of my own home. SO THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH FOR THIS TUTORIAL!!!!! YOU ROCK!!!! After a year and a half of not cutting my hair i finally did and it feels so much better. I was kinda worried about the face framing but it turned out alright. Only thing is I didn't get as much volume and layers as you did. Could it be because even after I cut it, I noticed my hair is still longer than yours? I used to have voluminous beautiful hair but i guess after not trimming for a year and a half its been neglected. I also had A LOT of breakage. And I noticed when i was cutting my hair and how thin it has gotten. I definitely need to start giving some TLC to my hair...

I used her method. it's logical and simple. I had a good result. lost hardly 2 inches. lost all split ends. if u want to give it a try be patient and don't hurry. less is more. use good scissors and comb. difficult for very long hair. my layers are only in the last 3 inches of my hair

Hi Farah ! I´ve tried this on myself today and I can´t stop staring in the mirror. It´s absolutely brilliant. Worked wonders for me. I´ve got a lot of hair but it´s very thin. This haircut added volume and texture to my hair. I definitely recommend to everyone. Thank you Farah for all the tutorials you have filmed. You are a very inspiring woman. I´ve learned a lot from you

After debating for way too long, I finally took the leap! My underlayer in the back came out longer than anything else, but i can always fix that. I know what i did. This is so easy! Don't be scared people, do it!!! You have saved me so much money. LOL. Looking forward to your new channel gurl! Thanks a million!

Thank you so much for posting this!!!! I just finished cutting my hair with your help and it's the best cut I've ever had! I have curly hair and hairdressers either don't layer enough and my hair is one big curly mess or they layer too much and leave huge gaps in my hair. This cut is perfect! I'm never going to a salon again :)

I tried cutting my hair myself for the first time, using your technique and it turned out better than most of the hairsalon-haircuts I've had. Thank you for the tutorial! :)
