Since we have a fireplace I saved all the matches I used in a year and used them to make railroad ties. Now that I have a mini tabletop saw I can make any size lumber I need for scratch building. Cheers from eastern TN

The results are nice but it's a very tedious process. Even if you used longer sticks of wood you'd still need to cut them down to size. So there's no easy button to push if you want to use real wood, which the look of real wood I think is unmatched by other materials that try to simulate wood. Neat video. I enjoy your how to videos. 👍
