Holy crap you’re handy! But you definitely need a garage workshop for your projects! And don’t forget to have ventilation and PPE (personal protective equipment)!

I feel like Megan could start a new channel on home DIY and everyone would love it because how different it is from other DIY channels. Others try to make it as if doing DIY is super simple and easy but Megan shows how in actuality, it could be so messy, confusing, and difficult and that’s okay. Because despite that, you could still finish it anyway. 👌 Anyway, I feel like this is how I exactly acts when I started a new personal project. I literally will not go to sleep unless I finished it or if my body screams, “I need some rest!!” And I would even wake up so early to continue doing it (and that’s saying something because I am not a morning person whatsoever).

Please wear eye protection and a mask so you don’t ingest the tiny wood particles and get sick (id also recommended not cutting or sanding wood in your house) Edit: you could also dry brush the white so it looks a bit more vintage

is the reason you recommend not cutting/sanding in your house for the same reason of not inhaling particles? just curious not really familiar with this world of things, but I mean usually I only see these tools in like a garage or wood shop of some kind and wood shop in school looked like it was in a warehouse/ garage lol

Megan! After watching you build this box for 20 minutes (which was still amazing) I just stopped by to say you should get yourself a self-cleaning litter box, like the Litter-Robot. My friend has one and it changed his life. It's like $500, but it's a small price to pay for never having to inhale litter-poop-air ever again! Also, you can track how often your cat uses the bathroom through an app. It's entertaining AND functional. 😂🎉

Okay so I watch a lot of woodworking on youtube (you're like the weird exception), and do some myself, and i gotta say : great build ! It's not technically complicated, and please please pleeeeeaaaaaase be more careful, the miter saw and nailer can both be extremely dangerous, but the idea, and end result are quite amazing. It's a brilliant idea and it works great and it looks great. Keep going girl ! I love seeing this kind of stuff made to look accessible !

I used a yoga mat underneath my litter box. You can get on for $12 at Ross or TJMaxx. Looks like it would fit perfectly under your box. It's also easy to mop or wipe clean.
