We used to have at home picnics when I was a child; Spread out a red and white blanket inside the room that went out to the patio, then our mom would have a lot of finger foods like cut up fruit, popcorn, ants-on-a-log, pb&j sandwiches, potato chips, and that sort of thing. Nothing quite so nice as that sushi or mochi looks, but we were still excited for when we got to do that as kids.

私もお風呂屋さんに行きました！ビンに入ったイチゴミルク・コーヒーミルク・フルーツミルクありましたね。The cap was a round card board like top that you peeled back. That was such a huge treat when my おばあちゃん bought a bottle for me. 懐かしい。。。 Thank you for sharing your lovely picnic and reminding me of lovely memories!

What a great idea to be safe by having a picnic on your balcony. Even if you don't make a video of it (angle might be too hard to capture) I hope you enjoy some hanami on your balcony now that the sakura are in bloom. I was trying to think of what to serve with quiche and I am going to make a miso-yogurt dip with cucumber, daikon and orange bell pepper based on the the veggies and dip you enjoyed in this video. Ich finde es unglaublich toll das ihr so etwas macht. Für eine Beziehung ist das so wichtig, dass man immer wieder etwas romantisches und schönes miteinander unternimmt. Looks delicious! If we go to a park in Tokyo I usually buy things at the kombini for a picnic, but I now realize I never buy any sweets. Perhaps I should do that when I'm back :)I would love to try that matcha dessert, The inari sushi look so tasty. Great idea to have mini sushi. Can't wait for another picnic in Hikarigaoka park.
