OMG! 11,000 enamel dots! you must be the most patient person in the world! as much as i love my enamel dots, and find them pricey, I have not ventured down the road of making my own. Enjoy those dots!! TFS, AllisonLP

Wow, making the entire container of 11,000 must have taken quite some time! The colours are beautiful. I bought the striped version in red and greens and they look like peppermints. The pink and blues look like beach balls. You should try them - they turn out very cute. I have a video showing what they look like. I cut some in half using my KitchenAid kitchen shears to create the smaller sizes, but it is tedious like you said. TFS, Monika

Have you tried Pony Beads? I've had success with those as well. They make larger dots. They do give off an odor, I did mine when I could open the windows. I don't know if you talked about that in your video, because for some reason, I couldn't get the sound portion of your video. The perler beads work great, and there is such a wide variety of colors available. Thanks for sharing!

Ok, so I had to come check out your channel. :O) I am a new subbie to you now. I have been doing this as well and I can't believe that you are using the same boxes that I am using. lol....I love how you can get them out. I ended up buying a ton of the mixed sets that Joanne Fabric has had for the last three weeks or so. They had them for Christmas, but every time I went they had them on sale for 50 to 60%. Now all I have to do is start melting the mixed ones to add to my collection. I think I am going to try making different sizes this weekend and see how it goes. Wish me luck! If all goes well I might have to make a video on it. Hugs Lisa G

Please! warn your watchers about noxious fumes that plastic releases when heated. Have doors, windows, etc open with a fan going. I have seen many of these tutorials that do not warn of it.
