This is excellent, not only do I want to see how this is done with a boson, I would really like to see how this would work with a lepton on a breakout board like the purethermal pro mini for weight savings

Hi, I would like to know exactly what it is you are using (with a link to purchase) and a video showcasing the product please. Does this thermal camera have a way to look around similar to the mini? And how do you attach it to the mini? And is there a cheaper option?
@aliffikri19084 жыл бұрын
can you show how to make that thermal camera tutorial ?

Hello Tony, great info here ! For your information, any extra weight over 15 grams for the Mavic Mini will switch it into "payload" mode, meaning the flight will be very much limited to 30 m away and 50 m high. Any idea please about how the weight could go down to under 15 grams ? Kind regards

Very interesting, but how could you relate the visible image of the drone with the thermal one ?
@sUAScom5 жыл бұрын
Silverio Garcia Cortes this uses 2 tablets/phones: one for thermal one for visible. But this is a starter kit. For more professional setups, please check out our others like in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/q5O6fK2iqMmMnbM. Thanks

You can put thermal reference points on the ground. There are two yellow ones here: www.armadale.org.uk/dartthermal500.jpg

Very interesting can i use the thermal camera at night? Can it detect/see a human being during night?
@sUAScom5 жыл бұрын
You can. These true thermal cameras do not care day or night. They work the same way. So yes you will see a human at night

Did you just connect the cheapest FPV transmitter you could find to that $2000 thermal camera? You didn't even use a circular polarized antenna. Your reception is crap because your receiver antenna is circular polarized and your transmitter is linear. Invest in a better receiver and transmitter!
