Great job Tony, it looks really good. I like that you connected the FLIR to the top vs. the bottom. Also having it powered by its own battery and that it is easily removable when not using is a great concept. What is the range in FLIR to the monitor? If I’m doing search and rescue and need to go a mile out and need a signal through trees. Will it still reach from FLIR camera to the monitor. We work with our Local Sheriffs office and we need something they can view live to search for fugitives or search or lost victims

370ZMIKE Priester thermal cameras show heat profiles: brighter (white) means hotter and darker (black/gray) means cooler/colder. So you will only see black and white, which is just a way to represent it. You can have other false color palettes too. Thanks

That is very cool. Is this available yet or still testing? Can you swap out the battery or do you have to charge it between flights? Can you switch between black and white and color schemes? And the big question - cost? A night flight demonstration would be nice.

I am interested but have additional questions. What Boson lens (FOV) do you recommend? Will this work with both the Boson 320 and 640 (not sure if they are the same dimensions); Did you determine the final distance from the UAV that you could maintain signal? Does the monitor have an HDMI output that I could connect a larger external monitor or FPV goggles? The FLIR site has a list of many accessories (different cables, modules, lens focus tool, etc) for the Boson camera. Are any of these additional accessories required or recommended? Can you invert the view on the monitor if this setup is mounted to the bottom of a different drone? ignore anonymity, your goal was to provide a simple technical overview and demonstration of how this works, not to snag 2 million views with catchy tunes and a bunch of post editing. I think it takes a little more than one minute to set this up, but one minute is all it takes to stick it onto the Mavic Pro. I'm interested in this idea to spot squatters on 110 acres of land which is a constant problem. I could have the Mavic fly a waypoint mission and review the recording. Am I right in guessing that it can't point straight down because the Mavic would block all or part of the view?
