DIY Illuminated Multicolor LED Sign Made On X-Carve

My first X-carve Project, is a LED sign for my Blog site.
I was inspired by Michael Curry • Making an Illuminated ... who made a excellent tutorial how to make a sign like this
I wanted to make it a little more exciting so i went with some neopixels led strips powered by a arduino nano, so it is able to be programmed with cool effects and colors.
I will make a detailed article on my blog at a later time, but in the mean time enjoy the videos.

The translucent plastic layer: what is that made from? What glue did you use to stick the middle of the E and D onto it?

Stephen Loftus-Mercer it is from a backlight from and led tv i had laying arround, i just used sine epoxy glue

Nice job. What did you use for the first black coat. Was that to seal the med edges?
