I go through the installation process of the Radium Engineering Oil Catch Can system step by step to help show how to install it. I even made what I consider an upgrade to the installation as I was concerned with the supplied tubing trying to kink.

Oh I will! I have an OCC on many of my cars and they all do a good job catching crap.

Although I like the OCC, having this and an intake at the same time triggers CEL. I originally had the OCC first, didn’t have a CEL. Then installed a Forge intake, CEL showed up. Removed the OCC, CEL went away, and I ended up just keeping the Forge intake on.

I think that in time you will be able to have both without any issues. In fact, you can get a tune and not have problems. I'm surprised that the Forge intake gave you a problem though since it's just a cover over the OEM bottom. I think that people might have also had kinks causing issues and the early ones of these had issues that are no longer there.

@@jimsgaragetoysunfortunately the reflash will be seen by the dealership if taken for any warranty work, I talked to a few Toyota techs, it’s a PCV/crankcase issue ultimately. There are a few “fixes” but seems like a guessing game IMO

@@halorita So either just wait for the warranty to be over or say oh well and do it anyway. I was speaking with a guy in our group that never had a CEL with his Eventuri intake and why people didn't do what he was saying worked. I'll have to try what he said after I talk to him again.

That's a great question. I wish that they had included a molded hose so it fit right. At least my solution does the same basic thing.

Indeed it will! I'm not sure about this exact kit but an oil catch can will only help and never hurt. I have one on my NA 2017 Corolla iM HB and my wife's 2010 Prius in addition to my 2009 Corolla Turbo S.
