Your videos, your projects, your explanations.....are awesome!!! Last night I OD'd on you! 9 hours and 23 videos later....I stumbled to bed at 4 am. The tiny house build in Washington, all the new workshop video's, the big log mill, and a few others. Simply amazing. Congrat's on your fantastic progress. Jim in Phoenix.

In the 60’s my father needed the same for his wife and 7 children. While not as fancy, as yours, my dad solved our needs with a door in Muskego, Wisonsin. Great job AW! I hope your table has Jesus there daily like he was at our door/table for 30-40 years! God’s Blessings, Richard “Curly” Wentland

Love these practical projects that the average person can duplicate (or at least attempt). Once a CNC machine comes into the picture, I tend to fade out. Good video.

Outstanding April. The zebra wood was a great choice. And the Total Boat finish should last a forever or two. Your people will really enjoy using that table And using a door for starters sure saved some time and expense. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe.

Considering it started life as a cheap door it sure turned into a cracking break room table. You gave me a chuckle at the end when you said Click here for plan's etc, April it don't know if you're aware but each box at the end is totally empty just completely blank spaces!!! As always April 💯%... 👍 🇬🇧.

I like using solid core doors, esp ones that are damaged on one side, for work bench tops. My dad used a bunch of vandalized ones to build an L-shaped desk, drafting table, and some other office furniture when I was growing up. That thing was indestructible and I never wanted to help move it.

Great looking table. You could check the store for damaged doors to make table projects. On attaching legs to the table maybe you cut out a opening on the bottom of the table and add a solid lumber in the opening to attach the legs to. Stay safe.

This looks very good! My first large workbench was made out of a steel entry door. I put the doorknob hole to the back, against the wall. Worked great, still miss that bench with the reclaimed steel cabinets underneath.

Nowadays you could probably sell a workbench like that as a desk for big money (and the doorknob hole could be used as a wire passthrough). lol

Thanks for sharing. I have long thought of the cheap hollow core doors as big "project panels" but would not have thought of this! great project idea. Also, while the bigger and longer projects are awesome (the outdoor kitchen, etc.) - these one day builds are really cool - small projects we might be able to tackle in a weekend or so. especially now that fall in texas means more time in the garage.... thanks again for sharing.

I did this for my computer desk. It would of been super expensive to get the size i wanted with solid hardwood. Only issue is I didn't epoxy it. I just sanded and painted it. I then put a hole in it by accident, but that's okay I am going to fix it. Probably going to do a really cool epoxy top coat with the help of my sons mom.
