I’ve just been using moss poles but I really like this trellis idea for big plants!!! My monstera deliciosa is also getting pretty big and it’s tipping the moss pole over!!! I will definitely be trying this thanks for letting us know where to find some cheap ladders!!!! I don’t have Instagram so I’ll share here I think I’m going to do a light stain for my ladder!! Thanks again :)

I just got a nice size Monstera and already had a blanket ladder that I didn't really use other than for decor... I think I'm going to use it as a trellis instead I love how this turned out!

Loved this video Ashley, the ladder turned out 👍.So funny I’m currently drying brushing a bookcase that I was sick of the color of, it can be tricky to not leave a lot of paint in one spot then it’s time to sand it over again. This combination looks so pretty and unique, I’m sure your moms office is happy now that they have a beautiful plant to admire😂🥰💚. Give us updates when it begins to climb, that’s going to look 🤩

Thank you! I love the way it turned out and the way it looks with the Monstera! That’s so funny! 😆 Great minds think alike! It definitely is hard not to bunch up to much paint in one spot but like you said it’s an easy fix with some sanding! Everyone in the office loves that we’ve brought plants in to liven it up a bit but yes I will definitely do updates when it starts to climb definitely on Instagram and maybe I’ll make a short update video to for YT we’ll see. Anyways I would love to see your finished product once it’s done! Will you be posting a pic on IG?

🥰yes great minds. Definitely will post when complete My big thing is planting in the garden now before it gets cold, bushes shrubs and reblooming azaleas. Have you ordered any hoyas? I ordered a sunrise from Hailey hoya for a friend, should be here soon🤗

Whats the stuff you added to help prevent fungus gnats?

Leca…I popped it on top of the soil to help prevent them from going in. It’s also I good topper for aesthetic purposes! But if you have lots of fungus gnats already diatomaceous earth is a great thing to use.
