Nice video, but I have some questions. It seems a bit narrow to use as a day bed. What was the width? Also, why the foam strips on the sides?

The width is 18". We added the foam strips to ensure that the sides wouldn't be harsh on your calves when you sit on it.

Nice looking bed/sofa, when you cut your plywood, don't make it overhang, just put a piec of wood on top of the saw horses, and use it as a martyr, lot safer and help with not having the end of the cut braking under its own weight.

I was curious what happened to projects like this. I noticed in today's video, you mentioned a couch that hadn't worked out so well and you were tearing it apart. At 29 seconds in, I could see that this was the same piece of plywood as this one, 1:55 into this video. I see now you took today's video down. I guess others spotted the same thing :)

Good eye! yes it was the same piece! the intended owners ended up wanting a longer day bed so we salvaged the legs, foam, leather, and most of the plywood. we accidentally posted the desk before the sponsor had approved it. it is back up now.

Because the animal is not just killed for the leather, they are killed for the meat and then the leather is just a bi-product. With the fur on the other hand, the animals are killed just for their coat

Am I the only one who always has trouble hearing her. All of her videos the volume is extremely low. Lately Ben's video volume has been really low as well. Have to crank mine almost all the way up.
