Chrome-plated steel isn't of a lesser quality than stainless.

@@earlmcmanus194 it can rust. I’ve seen a rusted Barcelona chair. And then it needs to be dismantled, stripped and plated again. The Barcelona is available in stainless in the US.

@@SestoMazzanti firstly, that depends on the grade of stainless steel and then the environment. Point is that the chromed steel version will rust badly. That also has to do with how good the nickel plating was.

keep in mind that the sofas have never been designed like that by Corbusier, Perriand or Jeanneret. They have designed just a oneseater. That is a freestyle version by Cassina, never licenced by LC. I wonder how they say can "original" hhhhh Cassina is such a liar hhhhhh
