Thank you for sharing this. :) Love the look of the logo pressed on. Also, please note that Copy/Printer paper tends to be higher in acidic levels and leads to early deterioration of paper of becoming yellow and brittle. Actual drawing paper will outlast the copy paper, and can be found in sheets of 500 of 9"x12" (closet to A4 sized paper) for as little as 10 to 20 dollars.

Right... so... first of all this is awesome, but I wanna make one for my girlfriend but she is a bit funny with real leather. Would fake leather react in the same way ooorrr? If not does anyone have any suggestions for other materials, ty!

I just suggest you get a veg tanned leather they go around 30 to 40 or lower or get a chrome tan for cheaper.

Pleather is fake...but comes in a range of weight /thickness. Just choose the one you want...added benefit of already being in a colour range and can use fine sandpaper to gently age it

Excellent work. I am interested in knowing how you did your whole embossing process. What material did you pour into your imprint in the foam? What vice/press did you use to emboss on the wet leather?

Looked like he used a silicone mold and epoxy resin to me, then wet the leather and just put some weight on
