I have donr this 20 times and cant get it to work, I spent 40 bucks on different magnets and washers etc. I run a science program for the PTA at our school and was planning on doing it for the whole school next week. Any help on why it might not work would be great. my top just tips over but it will balence straight up in the b field.

The bigger the top as far as weight would need thicker neo rings? Would it need a larger magnet under neath the top if it was heavier ??

Hej 2 pytanka. Czy potrzebne jako podstawa są 2 magnesy ferrytowe podobnych rozmiarów (czy można uzyc np jednego 100x45x18 mm). Czy neodymowki muszą być wycięte w środku? Czy mozna użyć magnesów neodymowych "pełnych" w środku?

I am having trouble finding the same size ferrite ring magnet; would a magnet with Diameter: 4-1/2" Hole Dia.: 1-3/4" Thickness: 0.406" work as well?

Yazmin Diaz doubtful. It probably just provides a smooth surface so you can watch the whole system
