Don't forget to check out my blog (humblebeeandme.com) as well-I've been blogging since 2011 while I’ve only been on KZbin since about 2016, so there are a lot more formulations on the blog. Hello Marie, I am confused about your cream eyeshadow recipe on your website. I would like to make 1g batches of different colored micas. Your website says to weigh out 0.8g of cream eye shadow base, and add 0.2g mica. When it says "cream eyeshadow base” are you referring to the silicon gel, silicon elastomer & mousse medium mixed together? If that is what you are referring to, how do I weigh out the ingredients separately to make 0.8g of cream eyeshadow. I think I know how to, but I want to make sure I am doing it correctly. I love your channel and recipes ♥️
@HumblebeeAndMe2 жыл бұрын
Hi! The idea is that you make a bigger batch of base and then just use a little for each eyeshadow. Sort of like if a recipe calls for mayo; you don't try to measure out a tiny amount of egg, oil, and lemon juice-you simply use pre-made mayo :)

Good Day Marie! May I know is it possible to have this cream eyeshadow in solidify version?
@HumblebeeAndMe Жыл бұрын
Possibly? I'm not sure how I'd go about it, though. The base isn't designed to be heated enough to add in a wax or fatty thickener and I'm not sure how such an addition would impact wear time. There are certainly solid formulations for sale that have a similar ingredient list, but since we are starting from a pre-made base that may be out of reach for us.
