It's funny that you bring this up. Because the is exactly what I have been doing to test my transformers and to check Continuity and resistance through my low voltage cables , Because it's so hard to keep the multimedia probes connected to the terminal pins of the connectors. I came up with this exact same layout only longer low voltage (extension test cable). I'm looking into adding a l e d display to automatically give me voltage and current read out.

Do you know how to remove the pins from those connectors? I need to change the input cable to the base station board from the connector on the base station? And looks like I need to remove the pins to remove the whole cable. Thanks!

My transform gives 36-38v. Is it possible that give overvoltage asswell..? It should give 26-28v but of its broken should’t it give lower voltage?
