As a candle maker, I just wanted to give you some advice when creating candles. The distributors will always suggest a starting point for your wick but it's never absolute. The best thing is to still test different types and sizes to make sure you got the right one. CDN wicks burn cool so they're ideal for coconut soy or coconut apricot wax. Soy wax needs a hotter burning wick like ECO wicks. Also it's normal for Soy candles to not have smooth tops. You can smooth them with a heat gun but once it burns, at cooldown it will roughen up again. Lastly, please allow 2 weeks cure time before testing or selling to make sure they function properly. I really enjoy your videos :)

Jerika, these are gorgeous. Candles are next on my list of saleable products and this video gave me inspiration and mostly, courage to do it. I have all my stuff...just waiting to feel confident lol. Hi, you should definitely use a plastic or wooden wick holder so its not hot when you touch it and you should put it down before you pour the wax in the candle. And maybe buy one of those funnels to have more control when pouring the wax in the bottles.

FYI, flashpoint has nothing to do with mixing temp. Flashpoint has to do with shipping fragrance oil, specifically by air

That's not accurate. She's talking about how the temperature cannot be too hot when adding the scent. 1 or 2 things that can happen: the scent will not stay or will disappear altogether, or "burn." Shipping in the air is not anything she's referring to. She's calling it the correct term.
