Why would you need febreeze in your home when you're a breath of fresh air! Honestly I just love your enthusiasm! It is contagious! You make me want to get up off my couch and get things done...thanks.😊

I live in Ecuador as an expat (no dollar trees or Downy products in my area) so I bought the liquid fabric softener for 99 cents in a small refill pack that smells like vanilla and almonds! I mixed this with leftover 99.99 alcohol from the beginning of the pandemic (HA! Knew I would find a use for it!) And I mixed it with a little hot water and instantly was able to spray away all the odors in my house! whoohooo! This is super helpful! Thank you so much! There was pollen in the air and I think I was able to zap it and take out the smells and also my allergies at the same time! So happy you made this video! You are so loveable and so relatable! Thank you again!

I use the Downy unstoppables in my "white" load of laundry because I use bleach and the scent boosters make the clothes smell so good instead of like bleach. Great tip, I'll have to try it!

I'm following a house cleaner on TIKTOK and her recipe is water and Gain or Walmart’s brand of fabric softener. It smells the same and is cheaper. I went on KZbin to see how to reuse the FEBREEZE spray bottles, they're great and it's so easy to get their tops off. I’ll save at least $4.50. Thank you for sharing.❤️

I make this for my home except I add the beads to boiling water and stir till it's all desolved so I it doesn't leave a residue on my fabrics. I like your idea of adding alcohol instead of the water I used in mine.😊

Another nice option for people who want an all natural option and have allergies, is to fill a plastic or glass spray bottle with water and 10-30 drops of essential oil depending on the size of your bottle and the strength of the oil. You can use Lavender, Mint, Lemon, Orange, Rose, Rosemary, ect. Because water and oil separate just make sure to shake it before spraying...;).....Love your videos and your colorful style!

Great idea with the scent beads. I do the same basic recipe but essential oils instead of the beads. I have a citrus mix and then a lavender and peppermint mix and a sleepy mix for the sheets. I like to use distilled water.

If you want to get rid of that funk from your washer use cheap powdered dishwashing detergent (cascade) with your tub clean cycle or sanitize cycle. Drain the water and clean the plug/filter from the bottom of the unit. Leave door ajar and switch to powdered laundry detergent. Whatever you do, don't combine liquid fabric softener with liquid laundry detergent. It's like the perfect environment to grow mold and your only feeding them with every wash.

Had a front load washer and to keep the mold and stench away, I never shut the door when not in use. Also dry the inside door including behind the rubber.
@DataRebelYXX
@DataRebelYXX 4 жыл бұрын
Totally agree with this. I take a shirt-sized item or small towel out of the clean load I'm emptying into the dryer, and use it to wipe the inside of the door (everywhere), the rubber gasket (everywhere - also clean out the gasket drain holes while you're doing that), then throw that just used piece of clean clothing into the dryer with the rest - it's just water you soaked up. Also keep the door at least 1" open and if you have those tiny doors into the big door, open that too. Finally, don't forget the detergent drawer - slide that out as much as you can safely and let it air dry (or use something else to wipe it). You won't have those mouldy smells anymore, and your clothes will not smell after cleaning. Remember to run a cleaning wash cycle every month accordingly to the washer manual - some do not like vinegar cleans, and instead use super hot water.

Dollar Tree has a product called Fragrance Booster. It is the exact fragrance and formula as Downy Unstoppables. It is hit or miss when they come in, however you get 10.5 ounces for $1.25 instead of paying $5.00 for 5.7 ounces.. The fragrance is labeled the same as Downy Unstoppables. I purchased Fresh. This will make it less than 25 cents for the homemade Febreeze, because when you run out of a product from a spray bottle, you wash it really well and make your own air spray. This is such a good video on how to create your own Febreeze.
