Another way to waterproof your labels is to use Modge Podge (which you can get at arts and crafts stores.) Just get a small paintbrush, then just paint a layer or two over the label (let dry in between) and it literally will make it waterproof. Hope this helps :-)

I also added some cornstarch to cut down on the greasiness.

I bought your Chebe Butter for my hair. Loved it so much, I got 2 more jars that same week! I'd love to make this body butter for one of my daughters but she is allergic to shea products. What would you suggest as a substitute for that butter and the amount to use? Also, I'm 68 and normally when I comb my hair, I will loose about the amount of a small cotton ball on a daily basis and my hair is thin because of that. The first time I combed my hair after using the butter, I lost 2 hairs! The same thing the next day. That was why I got two more jars! My hair is glossy, stronger, does not shed even after shampooing and has beautiful curls/ringlets in it. I put it on my scalp also. There was no dandruff or itching. I believe if I'd used the powder and not the oil in the butter, I may have had a problem with dandruff. I will continue to buy your product as long as you sell it because I'm just too lazy to make my own! One last thing, I gave away 7 other hair butter/creams and now use just your Chebe butter. It does everything the other products were supposed to do. So I'm saving money by not buying those other items. Have a BLESSED week!

Mary Stewart Thank you for your purchase! 🙏🏽😊 I am glad you enjoyed the products. A great substitute would be Tamanu and/Murumuru butter. They are both super soft butters that will give you a lotion-like, creamy body butter. Tacuma and Cupuacu butter are also great substitutes. I hope this helps 😊💜

I’m not sure pure vitamin E should be that clear if that’s the ingredient you’re using to slow down oil rancidity. You should check out the vitamin E Humble Bee & Me uses, it’s almost like thick syrup 🤤 She also made body butters in the past where she wanted a less greasy and more lotion texture and she used this specific ingredient that made the oils seep directly into the skin like a dry oil.
@dianeespinoza86475 жыл бұрын
Yes! that is the ISSUE with buying from Amazon you have no guarantee of what you are buying. There are two types of Vitamin E one is natural and one is synthetic. I think viscosity can vary, I myself am never worried, I buy only from chemical and cosmetic supply companies. Always! Although I find more of an issue with carrier and essential oils there are so many frauds on Amazon. The biggest clue is price if it is inexpensive for the "average " going price it is fake. Vanilla Absolute is 1/8 oz for $72.00 Not many people can afford an ounce of it. I am suspicious of absolutes on Amazon , most Amazon sellers won't afford the real thing when it comes to absolutes, like rose, vanilla, jasmine, oakmoss. The store within Amazon like Plant Therapy have authentic oils.

Hi Yaya, I love what you do, you make all your skincare products stress free and it looks good and I can't even imagine how it will feel on the skin. Please can you do a video on how you DIY your product labels.

Hello, Can you please talk about usage of mica powder? Is it necessary? Is it harmful? If we do not want to use that then what should we use? Food color or other organic colors. And can we refrigerate this or what room temperature can we store this? This looks good for dry skin. Anything for oily, combination and sensitive?

Hello gorgeous! Noticed you added mica. Please look into the mining history of mica before you purchase a new batch of it. There's a really good docu on KZbin about it.

Nichole D Thank you! I have been recently made aware of this. I will definitely do some research and talk about it and I started the doc on it😊💜

Would fractional coconut oil work the same? If so is it the same amount when weighed? Thank you!

WOW that looks AMAAAZING! Do you think mango butter is better than cocoa butter? I've been trying to make body butters using Shea butter, coco butter and oils, but so far they have turned out greasy and go quite hard, not at all like yours. I've tried switching up the oils and added arrowroot but made no difference. Maybe mango butter is the way to go?

Hello Yaya, I have a question? How do you ensure the body butter doesn't melt in the container after it solidifies? BTW great recipe, thank you for sharing! I will try to replicate with a twist soon!

Did you know where the brand got the Mica from ? I think if this is all about nature and organic it has to be safe. If you hear about kids slaves finding mica underground. But nice recipe )
