Hello Tay La Dawn! Congratulations! You and Queen Eleem killed the DYI Micro loc community! I cut off my SL`s two years ago. I have been a Loosie for two years. I decided to get locs again! Girl! since COVID, the SL and micro loc prices have been ridiculous! I 'am in NY. Even though I could afford to get SLs or Microlocs, I refuse to spend over a $1200-$2000 for them. You and Queen Eleem have given this OG the inspiration to install my micro locs myself. My husband said he will help me with the parting! Its a GO this weekend! Your locs are BEAUTIFUL !!! I started my locs because of you and Queen Eleem. But because of major OCD, I have started over 4xs. My comment is similar to many others but I will say it anyway. I have watched from the laying of your grid and you are one of the big influences that made me think I could install my own microlocs…and I did 2.5 years ago. Best hair decision ever! 4 years seems to have flown by from this side of the video. Your locs are gorgeous! I may not ever do a loc bob hairstyle but I enjoyed watching you demonstrate and who knows… in another year and a half I may try it. My locs are sitting on my shoulders and at my collar bones so I have a little length I still need to grow. In no rush. My microlocs don’t have to be styled for me to feel good.❤🎉❤

Omg... The 2 locs on either side of my head; i call them my sideburn locs... They do the exact same thing, THEY DO NOT ACT RIGHT!!! 3½ years in and they both slip right out every wash day. I have to baby them and braid and band them in order for them to keep from totally slipping out. I've tried putting extension hair in them to keep them from coming out, but as soon as water touches my hair they slip out. I'll just have to keep braiding and banding those 2 loc areas until they behave.

My ends were loose like that in the front as well, and I started lightly spraying the water on my ends and lightly squeezing the water in those locs, and it worked to loc my ends.
