DIY Miniature Monstera Plant (And Basket Planter)

Today, I’ll show you how to make this gorgeous monstera plant and basket planter using some simple supplies including sketchbook paper, Arteza alcohol ink markers, wire, twine and dirt ;)

A tip I learned from Luke Towan, if you add alcohol to the dirt mix to wet it, then add a mix of glue and water, the alcohol helps evaporate the water leaving just the thin layer of glue. It's worked wonders for me when adhering beach sand to canvases and sculptures. This is a great and simple tutorial to follow, I'm glad to see you posting more often again

I will definitely try this in my beach scenes...typically I use polycrylic to set the sand, a few coats, and it hardens beautifully!
