DIY Miniature Wooden Dollhouse Bookshelf

I created a little wooden bookshelf for my dollhouse using extra large craft sticks, matchsticks, and a small piece of wood (for the back of the shelf) from the craft store.

I know I’m super late to the party but where can I find those super large craft sticks? The widest I can find are 3/4”.

Thanks! It was a lot of trial and error... and also luck. Holding them tightly for support also seems to help somewhat, but they still love to split!
