On my last car I only used a liquid spray wax but I've recently picked up a 2018 Si with near flawless paint and after watching this looks like I'll be switching to good ol' fashioned wax. Those results are amazing

@Rick's Garage, you and I have the same year and color Si but mine is a coupe. I, unfortunately (or fortunately?) found the same little black "particles" on my car at the front, bottom of the doors, fender area, and back by the trunk. So looks like I'm gonna take your solid advice and get some clay bar action going on. I was wondering if you have found, on these paint jobs, some thinner areas? Seems I have a few and need to work on them. Anyway, thanks for all your tips and advice!

I find that any area close to a sharp body line will be a little thinner than most. Claybar is *technically* abrasive, but is quite gentle. You;ll only need to use it on the surface until it feels smooth under the clay. That'll give you the least chance of going through the clear. Glad the vid could help! Thanks for your support!

Ran my blue civic SI through a car wash and my paint it all scratch and swirl up(Never wash your car at a car wash) now I wash my car at home outside
