I too must agree. This is next-level design work. I've been watching dozens of videos lately gathering ideas and planning my own portable table saw / router table / inverted jig saw. But you have exceeded everything I've seen. While my build may only use some of your concepts, I'm purchasing five of your designs now and will consider a few others after watching their videos. If nothing else, I want to support more of your work. Thanks! One possible improvement might be to provide English language build instructions... also policies and confirmation details on your web store.

Without a doubt a impressive build. Compact & versatile. Expensive diy build but probably more worth it then we could imagine. One thing though I've never seen anyone taking a attempt making able to turn the table saw 90° as option.

One of the things I admired most regarding all projects posted is the ability to actually use the same new tools or projects that are being made. I hope that is not lost in everyones' desire to churn out content. Yes, we are all looking for inspiration, but creating a project that not only works but is used by you is priceless. Don't lose sight of that premise.

Bought the plans before you were finished. Just downloaded the updates to add the outfeed table and build your table saw sled. Very excited to start this build in a few weeks as I have a similar dewalt saw and it is so good, would rather keep my compact shop vs having to expand to get a big cabinet saw. Thanks for providing the updates without having to pay again. Terrific work on the videos too. Will make following your plans smoother!

Watching you is humbling for me. I consider myself a good woodworker, I can do very good work, and get paid well for it. But you are on another level my friend. I'm not saying I couldn't get to your level, but I certainly would have to try harder to do so. Watching you is inspiring me to up my game. I've watched a lot of woodworkers over the years on KZbin because I'm always looking to learn and improve, and I must say that you have impressed me more than anyone. I would love to build a similar setup to yours, and perhaps one day I will. P.S. I love how clean you keep your shop. I also keep my shop super clean and organized. Even when I'm in the middle of a project I constantly clean up the dust and keep my shop organized. I find that I can't focus on my work very well when my shop is a mess, and if dust is everywhere, then it will constantly get stirred up if left to settle on everything.

I just picked up woodworking as a hobby and am building a much simpler workbench as my first medium-large size project. Once I've used it and know what I want and how my workflow is I will probably design another and borrow many of your ideas. At which point I'll give the old bench to my father. If you want wood on wood drawers to slide better, use some bees wax. You may have mentioned it, as I watched video 1 then skipped to this to see it working and will go back and watch the rest. Using SketchUp to build an optimized cut list I have learned I definitely want a setup with multiple stop blocks. When you minimize the amount of lumber you need you are making matching cuts on different boards with other cuts in between. Of course I could just be better organized but I'll probably still implement a stop block system. Thanks for all the great ideas.

Form and function. I honestly am floor by you design. Its no the standard that I will use to make any comparison. As a long time user of the Ryobi BT3100 table saw, That sliding table is something that I think ALL table saws should have.
@j_b_93813 жыл бұрын
4:00 A thought I had to aid with the drawer movement when using the sliding carriage, to assist when pushing it forward; inset a couple small rare earth magnets into the front face of the sliding carriage, and matching magnets into the support brace you attach to the drawer. This would eliminate the need to keep your hip in contact while sliding it forward.

Well you've convinced me. I was going to buy a Powermatic 64B and build a rolling cabinet around it. For that price, I can get a DeWalt bench table saw and all the plywood (baltic birch is $129 a sheet right now!) to build your design. I agree with the other commenters: excellent design and workmanship. Your work is a great example of what a master craftsman can do. Only problem is that some of the sheet material you use is hard to find (if not impossible) in the U.S. Thanks!

Making it happen with what you have is something I apply to other aspects in my life too. Incredible build, It was a pleasure to watch.
@Mighty_Atheismo Жыл бұрын
It's a really decent saw. The rack and pinion fence is, in my opinion, better (in terms of adjustment) than the fences that come on saw stop products. The top though, has hollow about 2 mm deep cuz they cast them but dont flatten them. I am building something very similar to this project and often have some regrets pouring so much effort into support infrastructure for a kinda crappy table saw. But I just tell myself "I'm not building the space shuttle here." But cabinet makers kinda are... such tight tolerances on mill work.
