As a woodworker wannabe I just drilled holes into a piece of scrap wood and nailed in four long nails. It works great. And all of that because of you and your tutorials. Thank you, my cats are happy🤣

Hello, excellent tutorial on how to proceed to build yourself a frame for the monkey fist, but you try with a large marble, but if I want to do it with a smaller marble, should I change the cardboard with and make new holes?

These things for whatever reason are super addicting to make or maybe its just me. I have 2 that have over 100ft of paracord in them that ive unwound and rewound multiple times. All by hand and jerry rigged pens for a jig. Wish i had seen this video back then haha

Thank you for sharing this content! I was actually thinking of making a Monkey Fist this weekend using a golf ball and now I can make a template to help ease the frustration. - Ha! I've been making keychains and that skull bead bracelet these past two weeks - using your tutorials on snake knots, cobra knots and globe knots. Even made a couple of the Double-DNA ones. This will help prevent monotony and keep me interested in pursuing this therapeutic hobby! 👊

I sure do, you can actually make a lacing needle out of the paracord itself, I have a video on that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kH3JpaGErMqcfKcsi=hGkDxrxsZIisX2bN

It’s called a fid, it has a threaded hole in the end so you can kinda screw the end of a paracord into it and use it to get in tight spots. Really helpful for the more intricate weaves, and super cheap to buy. Hope that helps!

You must be the right person to ask.. I want to make a bracelet (in leather) attached with pearls. When I tie, I have 4 threads at the end, but I really want a monkey hand at the end. (Used as a "button" to close the bracelet when I start with a "ring") Can it be done at all? I have tried to make the monkey hand with 2 cords, it goes ok, but the last tight is difficult as it is thin leather cord and it should sit close to the tied end. But thinking it can be done with patience 🧘🏼‍♀️😅 However, I still do not know what to do with the last 2 strings 🤷🏼‍♀️ Do you have a suggestion? I can not immediately see you have made a video, but maybe because you can not 🤔🤔 I hope you understand my question 🤞🏻 My English is not super, and Google translate as well 😉

Saw this video and thought it was easy enough Bought myself 2 pieces of 3 meter cord and found a small soft ball I had in a drawer Turns out the ball was in fact not small . and 3 meters was not enough also the cord was differesnt diameter ( WTF ) . and plot twist 6 meters was still not enough Had to find another piece to make it work , also diferent diameter And now I have a ball wrapped in cord hanging from a bookshelf and it honestly looks decent Spent 3 hours on this , would do it again

Can't figure out why none of the paracord videos do not want to tell us what the minimum amount paracord is required for each task
@TheWeaversofEternity
@TheWeaversofEternity 2 ай бұрын
I don't know about other channels, but for my videos, I almost always have the amounts of paracord used for each project, usually listed on screen within the first 30 seconds of the video. This particular video didn't have any measurements because the whole point of the video was to show you how to make a DIY jig with materials around the house. If you're looking for specific amounts needed for monkey's fists, I have a video about that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nIPSnGiPZrGap6M. I hope that helps!

@kamonharrell3277
@kamonharrell3277 3 ай бұрын
The knot itself isn't illegal, it's the weight inside of the knot. It is considered a weapon in most states in the category of "slung shot"
@Rick-if5zb
@Rick-if5zb 3 ай бұрын
@kamonharrell3277 But the inside can't be seen by the cop so he/she has to "assume" that it is loaded. Therefore you are detained and harrassed.

@@Rick-if5zb well of course your not allowed to have anything to protect yourself , that`s only for the powers that be. us peasants are not to be trusted with anything that might be a weapon
